Clear a straight run of about 60 feet for the truck, move vehicles well out of the way, and check for low branches or power lines over the drop spot. Mark where you want it and be reachable by phone when the driver arrives.

Mark the placement and decide which way the doors should face. Ask for boards if the driveway matters to you.
Be reachable
The most common cause of a failed delivery is nobody answering when the driver has a question. You usually do not need to be home, but you do need to be on the phone.
